Chemical Processes

Nano-Size Ltd. synthesizes by chemical techniques, metal and metal oxide powders of unique properties.  These include exceptionally high specific surface areas powders and nanoparticle suspensions. 

Nano-Size’s high surface area powders are unique in that their specific surface areas are at least twice the size of commercially produced powders, leading to increased chemical reactivity.  These powders, including CuO, CeO₂ and Ce-Cu-O with specific surface areas of up to 200m²/g, demonstrate increased performance in catalyst applications due to their enhanced surface areas.  Another product of high surface area is Ce-Gd-O powder, intended for solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) applications. 

Nano-Size has developed a process that permits the stable dispersion of its nanoparticles in a liquid medium according to customer-specific needs allowing the customer to directly apply the dispersion in their application.  Nano-Size's nanoparticle suspensions including Ag 50nm, Ag 80nm, CeO₂ and Ag₂O, are suitable for electronic devices, ink-jet printing, decoration, anti-microbial, CMP polishing and UV attenuation applications.
